Abstract:

The study proposes a design to eradicate overflow in sludge tanks used in the clarification processing of palm oil. The PC-based sludge tank monitoring system will be installed with floating sensors to indicate the content of the tank on the computer search. It will also be equipped with a floating switch circuit with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that will automatically control the drain. The computer interface will hopefully maximize personnel productivity and safety.
