I should be writing my thesis now, but i can't!

Abstract:

I have been approached on several occasions by students their thesis writing stage asking for tips on how to go about doing it. A common complaint is the difficulty in gathering enough momentum to actually sit down and start typing. More often than not, they end up staring at the computer screen for hours and not being able to write anything worth saving on disk. It's not easy. There are many ways to do it and often, one gets bogged down making that decision.
