Norberto Romualdez as a Cultural Historian

Marcelino A. Foronda Jr.

Discipline: Cultural Studies

Abstract:

The study of Philippine culture and its varied manifestations had been a preoccupation with Norberto Romualdez, and, while most of his surviving works along these lines are actually published versions of lectures delivered before learned groups -his contributions were such as to merit for him the accolade of being a cultural historian.
