Pasyon and Revolution

Basilio P. Balajadia

Discipline: Social Science, Cultural Studies

Abstract:

This book, which is the revised version of the author's doctoral dissertation on the influence of the Pasyon on the popular movements in the Philippines between 1840-1910, can very well be the sequel to either Nicanor Tiongson's Sinakulo, or to David Sturtevant's Agrarian Unrest in the Philippines, and Prospero Covar's Iglesia Watawat ng Lahi, all of which should serve as praenotamina to it.
