Abstract:

In Vol. VI, Nos. 2 and 3, of this magazine the writer published an article entitled "Are These Men Traitors or Patriots?" taken from his war diary. Upon reading the article, the late Dr. Jose P. Laurel, Sr., the central figure in it, wrote the writer on October 5, 1959 partly as follows. As far as I can recollect, your article contains a faithful and illuminating narration of that historical event as it happened at the time. I am glad you were able to chronicle a most trying phase in our country's history.
