The Hunters-Markings Rivalry

Discipline: History

Abstract:

The Markings guerrilla was founded in Talbak, Antipolo, by a former USAFFE truck driver, Marcos V. Agustin, on April 9, 1942. Agustin, or as he became known later, "Marking", was stranded when the bridge of Calumpit was blown up by the withdrawing soldiers of the USAFFE. He made his way to Manila and later to Antipolo.
