Abstract:

This paper was read at the centennial symposium commemorating the birth of Josephine Bracken held at the National Library auditorium in Manila in August 1976. It describes Jose Rizal and Josephine Bracken’s love story using Rizal’s correspondences to his family during his exile in Dapitan as sources.
