Abstract:

The article gives us a glimpse into the emotions, actions, relationships, struggles, and life in a particular municipality during a crucial period in Philippine history. What we get is a vivid reconstruction of the local history of Tiaong and one with which we can easily identify because it is close to home. This paper gives us an idea of the Filipino response to American rule at the beginning of the American colonial regime.
