The English Proficiency Level among Education Students of Trinity University of Asia

Abstract:

This study identified the English language proficiency level of the students of the College of Education in terms of three identified communication skills: grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension. The findings revealed that generally, the Education students are ‘advanced’ in the use of the English language as a medium of communication though they only speak it when necessary. Further, Trinity University of Asia through the College of Education was able to accelerate the English Language proficiency level of the students from ‘intermediate’ to ‘advanced’.
