Abstract:

This study aimed to develop a more improved surveillance system. This device, which consisted of a sensor, could detect any unusual entrance in the vicinity. Aside from its capability of recording an event, this equipment could also record the time it started detecting the intruders because it was installed of a time set for such purpose.

Experimental development was used to establish the functionality of the system followed by a descriptive approach to test the practicality and efficiency of the device through the assessment of purposively chosen evaluators.

Findings revealed that the developed surveillance system was reliable. It was also found to be functioning well.
