Abstract:

The study aimed to design a computer-based parking lot system to monitor and control the number of cars present in a parking lot. The device could indicate the time consumed by the car in the parking space. It could display the total number of cars that parked in the lot for the whole day.

To establish the functionality of the device, experimental development method and descriptive approach were applied.

Findings of the study indicated that the device was reliable, functioning and environment-friendly.
