J. H. Enemugwem

Discipline: History

Abstract:

According to Walsh, history is in three stages. First is the subject matter of it. Second is the methodology and third are the lessons of history. The subject matter of history is the human past through which individuals and communities render accounts of their past actions. Hence, Carr defined history as 'a record of what people did and not what they failed to do,' meaning that history concerns every aspect of human endeavor.
