Abstract:

This research aimed to determine the ‘digital divide’ among Faculty Members of Carlos Hilado Memorial State College for academic year 2007-2008 in order to gather baseline information for a Proposed Development and Intervention Program. The study made use of the descriptive research, employing the analysis of the responses of the faculty members to the different items raised in the questionnaire. The faculty members are on the poor side of the digital divide due to limited access to computers, internet, and multimedia. The level of ICT skill is average although they have shown some skills. The faculty's ICT capability must be enhanced.
