Strengths and Weaknesses of Academic Improvement Visitation: A Policy Analysis

Abstract:

The objective of Academic Improvement Visitation (AIV) essentially is to uplift the quality of instruction for the institution.  Respondents of this endeavor were faculty members of the Technological Institute of the Philippines – Manila, School Years 2005 – 2006 to 2006 – 2007.  Included here were full time faculty members as well as part time faculty members.  A researcher-made questionnaire was used for this study. The questionnaire was designed to be self-administered.
