Abstract:

This study dealt with the usage level of the library resources of the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Manila. It aimed to unveil what materials are considered important to the students and faculty members and whether these materials live up to the expectations of the users. It also looked into other concerns like delivery of library services and adequacy of facilities. The respondents were the students enrolled in summer 2008 and the faculty members with summer 2008 teaching load at TIP Manila.

This study used a questionnaire patterned from the TIP Manila library survey questionnaire used in determining the library users’ satisfaction and expectations in terms of the library facilities, library staff, and library service. The material assessed the respondents’ appreciation level on the various library resources.
