Abstract:

This study entitled “Enhancement for Filsov Shipping Company, Incorporated Website and its Acceptability” aimed to improve the current website of the company found at www.filsov.com.ph. The enhanced website provides information that will help the company’s clients do business through the Internet.

The current website provides static information about the services provided by the company. With the emerging technology in web development, user interaction is necessary to provide customer support and possibly increase the company’s market. On this regard, this study was developed to enhance the existing website and provide interactive online customer support such as vessel schedule inquiry, and cargo monitoring and tracking. The customer interactive inquiry could be queried in the enhanced website, thus, increasing customer satisfaction and the company could have a competitive advantage over others.
