Appendix: A Bibliographical Survey of Philippine Culture

Marcelino A. Foronda Jr.

Abstract:

The bibliographical survey of Philippine culture which follows is divided into two parts: (1) bibliography of materials on Philippine culture in general; and (2) a more specialized bibliography on the cultural life of the Philippines during the Japanese occupation, 1942-1945. To my knowledge the second aspect of this present bibliographical survey is the very first attempted and covers more or less the same field as that included in A Select Bibliography on Philippine Culture (Manila, 176; 38 p.). Nevertheless, it is meant to be a preliminary bibliography, and I hope to revise it by incorporating materials other than those presently included here as they are brought to my attention (Foronda, 1975).
