Abstract:

The Problem

The primary purpose of the study is to determine the implementation of “Speak English Policy” among nautical students of Capitol University for the first semester of school year 2007-2008. Specifically the study attempts to answer the following: What is the profile of the respondents in terms of; age, sex, civil status, parents’ educational attainment, parent’s income, and attitude towards English? What is the level of implementation on speaking English among the respondents? Is there a significant relationship between the respondent’ profile and their implementation of “Speak English Policy”?
