Abstract:

It is the aim of every local government unit to expand and the same time improve services to their clients as specified in their individual mandates in the light of improving the quality of life of their constituents.  However, efforts to achieving these aims have not been effective.  Total quality management, continuous quality improvement, and organizational efficiency are considered ways to effectiveness.  Thus, the purpose of this study was to determine whether organizational culture was related to management effectiveness of Local Government Units (LGU). Using descriptive correlation method, the study revealed that the level of organizational culture and management effectiveness were high.  Moreover, it showed a significant relationship between the two variables.  This implies that the higher the organizational culture level, the higher the management effectiveness.
