Abstract:
Developmental domains are specific areas of a child's developmental progress and growth. DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2016 or the Omnibus policy on Kindergarten Education stated that at the end of every quarter, a progress report will be provided to the parents. The overall performance of the learner, based on all the evidence, was summarized in the progress report. The progress report encompasses a range of representative skills across various developmental domains and content areas. These kindergarten developmental domains include Health and Well-being, Motor Development, Socio-Emotional Development, Language, Literacy, Communication, as well as Mathematics and Understanding of the Physical and Natural Environment. The study aimed to assess the status of the learning achievement and progress of kindergarten pupils along with the five (5) developmental domains for a holistic development of kindergarten pupils. By examining this dynamic relationship, this study aimed to propose enrichment activities to address the needs of kindergarten pupils along the five (5 developmental domains. A sample of 181 kindergarten pupils was randomly chosen from the population using the Raosoft online sample calculator. The study used a descriptive correlation and documentary analysis method. According to the analysis, the study's findings showed that most students maintained a consistent level of learning achievement and progress. The skills that are considered for development should be addressed and provided with enrichment activities that enhance and develop these specific skills.
