Abstract:

The study focuses on the extension services on Alternative Learning System (ALS) students in Mambusao, Capiz, Philippines. Employing a qualitative approach, the study aimed to comprehensively understand the program's impact, satisfaction levels, and potential enhancements. An analysis of ALS beneficiaries over five years highlighted that despite fluctuations due to the pandemic, the program consistently engaged ALS students, reflecting the dedication to improving language skills. Satisfaction ratings from participants revealed consistently high levels of contentment across various program aspects. The program's impact was substantial, influencing personal, social, and educational domains. ALS students reported increased confidence in self-expression, improved social interactions, and enhanced English proficiency, positively impacting their chances of passing the A&E examination. The study's implications stress the need for tailored activities addressing diverse learning needs, pandemic preparedness, continuous improvement through participant feedback, and forging sustainable partnerships to ensure the program's long-term success. Recommendations emphasize program modification, pandemic resilience, continuous enhancement, and strategic partnerships to sustain its impactful services.
