Mga Dulog sa Kasanayang Pagbasa at Antas ng Pagunawa ng mga Mag-aaral sa Kapalong College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology

Abstract:

Layunin ng pananaliksik na ito na matukoy ang epekto ng mga dulog sa pagbasa sa antas ng pag-unawa ng mga mag-aaral sa Kapalong College of Agriculture Sciences and Technology (KCAST). Tinutukan nito ang ugnayan sa pagitan ng iba’t ibang estratehiya sa pagtuturo ng pagbasa at ng literal, interpretatibo at kritikal na pag-unawa ng mga estudyante. Gumamit ang mananaliksik ng deskriptibo-kuwantitatibong disenyo. Inilunsad ang pag-aaral sa pamamagitan ng sarbey-kwestyoner na ipinasagot sa piling senior high school students ng KCAST upang makuha ang datos ukol sa kanilang karanasan sa pagbasa at mga estratehiyang ginagamit sa klase. Ang mga datos ay sinuri gamit ang statistical tools gaya ng mean, percentage, frequency at Pearson r. Ipinapakita sa resulta na mataas ang antas ng pag-unawa ng mga mag-aaral na exposed sa metakognitibo, interaktibo at top-down na dulog sa pagbasa. May positibong kaugnayan sa pagitan ng paggamit ng mga estratehiyang ito at antas ng kanilang komprehensyon. Sa kabuoan, napatunayan ng pag-aaral na mahalaga ang pagpili at paggamit ng angkop na dulog sa pagtuturo ng pagbasa upang mapabuti ang antas ng pag-unawa ng mga mag-aaral. Iminumungkahi na ipagpatuloy at paunlarin ang paggamit ng mga estratehiyang ito sa mga silid-aralan.
