Pananaliksik sa Kabatiran Ukol sa Gender and Development at Kultural na Pagpapahalaga ng mga Mag-aaral sa Isang Lokal Na Kolehiyo sa Probinsya ng Davao Del Norte

Abstract:

Layunin ng pag-aaral na ito na alamin kung ano ang kaalaman ng mga mag-aaral sa isang kolehiyo sa Davao del Norte tungkol sa Gender and Development (GAD) at kung paano ito nauugnay sa kanilang mga kultural na halaga. Pinili ang 258 na kalahok mula sa una hanggang ikaapat na taon, lahat ay nasa ikalawang semestre mula sa iba’t ibang programa. Gumamit kami ng kwantitatibong pananaliksik, partikular ang deskriptibong korelasyonal na disenyo, para masuri ang ugnayan ng kaalaman sa GAD at mga kultural na halaga. Sinubukan naming tukuyin kung aling mga aspeto ng kultura ang may impluwensya sa pag unawa sa GAD. Mataas ang naging resulta ng kaalaman sa GAD ng mga kalahok; madalas nilang naipakita ang kanilang pag-unawa. Gayundin, mataas din ang antas ng pagpapahalaga nila sa kanilang kultura. Mahalagang tuklas na may malakas na ugnayan ang kaalaman sa GAD at ang kanilang mga kultural na halaga. Sa regression analysis, tatlong pangunahing salik ang nakita: kaalaman sa mga batas at mandato ng GAD; pag unawa sa mga tungkuling pangkasarian ayon sa GAD; at kamalayan sa mahahalagang salik na nakakaapekto sa GAD. Ipinakikita ng pananaliksik na may malakas na ugnayan ang kaalaman sa GAD at ang mga kultural na halaga ng mga respondente. Mukhang may kaugnayan din ito sa kanilang antas ng pag-aaral. Importante na silipin at tutukan ang kanilang kultural na konteksto sa pagpapalaganap ng kaalaman sa GAD.
