Abstract:

Time is a problem in line fault finding. If time spent in faultfinding can be reduced, personnel are able to address this skill requirement within the work environment. Personnel’s experiences are less stress when doing practical works. As faultfinding is very time consuming, it definitely saves time by analyzing certain smaller sections of a circuit separately. If more than one section is faulty, the personnel can repeat all faultfinding steps and, with some repetitions, be able to master the faultfinding technique. The purpose of this research was to design and construct electric fault-indicator locator as an electrical protector. This leads to a better understanding of how faultfinding took place in a circuit.
