Mapping of Climate Change in the Philippines

Abstract:

This paper is a research mapping project of Civil Society Organizations’ (CSO) initiatives on climate change in the Philippines. Viewing climate change as both an environmental and development issue, this paper assesses the existing capacities, priority needs of CSOs, barriers and opportunities to their effective engagement with government and other stakeholders in mainstreaming climate/disaster risk management into development strategies.
